How to Set Up Live Booking (Step-by-Step Guide)
Create a Free Calendly Account
Go to calendly.com and sign up for free. Connect your Google account so Calendly can read your Google Calendar. This is what allows it to automatically show only your free slots.
Set Your Working Hours
In Calendly → Availability → Working Hours: Set the days and time range you're available (e.g. Mon–Fri, 10am–6pm IST). Calendly will automatically exclude any time you've marked "Busy" in your Google Calendar, and only show the remaining open slots to visitors.
Create a "30-Minute Consultation" Event Type
In Calendly, create a new Event Type: name it "Initial Consultation – Prime Partners", set duration to 30 minutes, and add a description. Enable "Collect Payments" in the event settings (next step).
Set Up Payment (Stripe or Razorpay)
Option A – Stripe (Calendly native, global): In Calendly → Payments → Connect Stripe. Set your consultation fee in INR. Clients pay at booking; you receive after Stripe's small processing fee (~2.9%).
Option B – Razorpay (Indian alternative): Use Cal.com instead of Calendly — it supports Razorpay natively and is fully open-source and free. Connect your Razorpay account in Cal.com Settings → Payments.
Embed the Widget on This Page
In Calendly: Go to your event → Share → Embed → "Inline Embed". Copy the script snippet provided.
Then replace the placeholder box above by adding the Calendly script to this HTML file's <head> and pasting the embed div in the booking section. The widget will show live, real-time available slots.
Buffer Time & Limits (Optional but Recommended)
In Calendly event settings, set: "Buffer before event" (10 min), "Buffer after event" (10 min), "Max bookings per day" (e.g. 4). This prevents back-to-back meetings and gives you preparation time.
